What is Stator Backup Management?
The backup manager in Stator allows you to configure and schedule automatic data backups. In simple terms, the backup manager can be configured to automatically backup your data at predefined intervals.
You can access and enable Backup Management;
1. Select the "File" menu.
2. Select "Backup Management".
3. Tick the checkbox "Enable Backup Management".
4. Backup Management is now enabled.
What does Backup Management actually backup?
The backup manager will make a copy of the "connected" Data Layer file and place it in the location that you specify. When Stator starts, it will execute a backup if it falls due according to the backup manager settings.
Can I restore from a backup file?
Yes, Stator has a built in "Restore" function which enables you to select valid backup file for restoration to the currently "connected" Data Layer file.
