This tutorial will step through the process of entering a trade into Stator.
After reading through this topic you will be able to:
1. Use the Position Sizer to enter trades.
2. Assign trades to any System.
1. Open an Owner.
2. Click on the "ENTER A TRADE" item of the main Stator treeview.
3. From the "<< Position Sizing TRADE ENTRY >>" screen.
4. Select "No Model" from the drop down selection.
5. Stator will enable the fields that you need to complete.
6. Select "Shares" from the Instrument drop down.
7. For this example we are going to enter the following trade:
5000 AMP Shares
Australian Stock Exchange
Purchased: 20 th December 2006 at $7.30
8. Enter the details into the position sizer as shown below:

9. After you enter the details, click on the "Calculate" button and the trade will appear in the bottom window. This is also shown in the picture above.
10. Click on the "Submit" button.
11. This will open a new window which allows you to specify additional trade details. From this window we select the System, enter the Trade Date and other important information for the trade.

12. Enter and select all the information which is required for the AMP trade.
13. Click on the "Submit" button to proceed to the next screen.

14. The picture above shows the final trade confirmation screen. This screen is designed to allow you to reconcile the trade details with your contract notes. For the purposes of this example, click on the "Submit" button to save the trade to "System 1"
15. Trade entry completed.
16. The trade can be viewed by selecting the appropriate System from the main Stator treeview.
