USING STATOR WITH VISTA

Stator will operate correctly on Microsoft Vista, if you are experiencing problems operating Stator on Vista, please follow the suggestions outlined in this tutorial.

Installation and operation

1. Install Stator using the Stator installation file.
2. Once Stator has been installed on your computer, right-click on the Stator.exe file and select "Properties".

3. Select the "Compatibility" tab.

4. Tick "Run this program as an Administrator".

5. Click on the "Apply" button to save the changes.

You will only need to complete this step once, every time you launch Stator it will automatically run with administrator privileges if you have selected this option.

PLEASE NOTE: The majority of issues that we have experienced with Vista are all permissions based. The User Account Control (UAC) which is automatically turned on with Vista can sometimes cause concern. Stator will operate without a problem with Vista, should you continue to experience problems, please ensure that you elevate Stator to administrator privileges.
