Stator will operate correctly without issue on Windows 7 however if you are experiencing any problems operating Stator on Windows 7, please follow the suggestions outlined in this tutorial.
Installation and operation
1. Install Stator by running the Stator installation file which you can download from our website [www.stator-afm.com/downloads.html].
2. Follow the installation instructions as provided by the installation process. One of the Stator PRO installation screens is shown in the image below;

3. Once Stator PRO has been installed on your computer, you can perform the following items to ensure that Stator will operate without issue (please note these are not compulsory as Stator will work on Windows 7 without the need for the following settings).
- Set Compatibility mode and Privilege Level
To bring up the following screen right-click on the Stator.exe file and select "Properties" and then the "Compatibility" tab.
From the screen below you can set the Compatibility mode to Windows XP and raise the Privilege Level to "Run as Administrator". Setting both of these options will ensure that Stator will be able to correctly perform all functions irrespective of the user account privilege level.

If you wish to set the Compatibility mode and Privilege Level, you will only need to complete this step once.
