 Historical Data Access
A major improvement in functionality is the ability to connect Stator to historical price data. For example, Stator allows you to connect to ASCII textfiles, MetaStock or PCE file formats.
When Stator is linked to historical data, the following functionality is available:
- Historical Open Equity Curves.
- Open/Closed Equity Curves.
- Trade (Open/Closed) P/L performance vs time.

More Analysis Options
As part of the redesign, many of the performance charts have been given a much needed overhaul. With the inclusion of many new performance charts and reports we have made it even easier to design and deploy new charts, reports and statistics.
Coupled with our new auto-update facility, you can be automatically notified when we release new features. The auto-updater will also take care of downloading the new updates as well.

Faster Operation
When we started work on version 2.## we decided to refactor the entire codebase with a major focus on performance and speed. The result is quicker operation, a more flexible architecture to allow us to easily add new user features as they are requested.
Everything has been refactored and re-designed, from data access components, business logic layers to usability. The differences are extensive.

Network Enabled
Stator v2.## is now network friendly. You can locate the central Data Layer file in any location, a different folder on your computer or on a central server.
Network compatibility is a feature required by our large corporate clients as well as any installation requiring multiple-user access.
