Can I upgrade to a newer version for FREE?

It all depends when you purchased your first Stator license.

The current Stator upgrade policy ensures that users have a minimum of 12 months free upgrades. This will either be within the same version group, i.e. v2.## or an upgrade to a new version number, i.e. v2.## to v3.##.

Here is a simple example that will illustrate the point better;

John purchased his original Stator license on the 1st of January 2006 (version 1.##). John receives all minor updates to the Stator program until we release version 2.##.

Version 2.## is released on the 20th March 2007. Because John purchased his original Stator license more than 12 months before the release of version 2.## he will be required to purchase an upgrade to version 2.##.

If John had purchased Stator on the 21st March 2006 he would be eligible to upgrade to Stator version 2.## for free.

I own multiple licenses, what will it cost for me to upgrade?

If you are not eligible for a free upgrade to version 2.##, you will only be required to purchase one upgrade (v1.## to v2.##) and all of your licenses will be upgraded.

If you are required to purchase an upgrade to version 2.## you will only need to purchase one and all of your Stator licenses will be upgraded.
