The Stuff you need to know
Privacy Statement
Your privacy matters to us- it's why we built Stator the way we did. Read below to learn more about what it means for you.
Your portfolio data
Let's start with what matters most. Your portfolio data is stored locally on your own computer. It is never transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or accessible by us in any way- unless you deliberately send it to us, for example when requesting support. Your positions, trades and financial records are yours alone, by design.
What we do collect
When you download the trial: your email address.
When you purchase a licence: your name, email address and billing details. Payment is processed by our payment provider- we do not store your credit card details.
When you contact us: we keep support and enquiry correspondence so we can help you effectively and maintain a record of the assistance provided.
How we use your information
We use your personal information only for the purposes you'd expect: delivering your licence, providing support, and, if you've given us your email- occasionally telling you about Stator updates, new products and special offers.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you won't hear from us again, no subject-line formalities required. You can also opt out any time by contacting us.
Who sees your information
Your personal information is never sold, rented or made available to third parties, except where you've given express consent or where we're required by law. Within Anfield Capital, only staff who need your information to do their job, such as support staff, have access to it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the personal information we hold secure, accurate and up to date. No method of internet transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to or from us online. In the event of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Access and correction
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time by contacting us.
Cookies and website activity
Our website may use cookies to collect anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors use the site- such as pages visited, browser type and referring website. This information does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the website. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, though some website features may not function as expected.
Support communications
We may keep records of support conversations- whether by email, phone or other channels to maintain a history of assistance provided and to help us improve our service.
Information provided by others
In some cases, your personal information may be provided to us by someone else- for example, a firm administrator setting up user accounts under a Platinum subscription. We will handle information received this way under the same terms as information you provide directly.
Deletion
You may request deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us. We will action your request promptly unless we have a legal obligation to retain the information. Since your portfolio data is stored locally on your machine, it is already in your control- we have nothing to delete on that front.
Questions
If you have any questions about this statement or how we handle your information, please contact us.
