Good question. It simply makes it easier to know when the latest version was released, 26 means 2026!
Hard to say, but we are in the final stages of testing. It's currently July- expect it to be within the next few months.
You can, but we recommend you wait until we have released version 26. It will contain a refreshed user interface along with many improvements.
Unless you have owned a license for less than 12 months you will need to purchase a new license to continue using the latest version of Stator.
